Before I discuss what Wealthy Affiliate has to offer, let me tell you a little bit about myself and my background.
My Background
Before I got introduced to internet marketing and selling informational products online, I was a Information Technology Manager. Business was doing very well and I was on top of the world, however, the CEO was replaced and wholesale changes were made to my entire department. These changes cause me to close this chapter in my career but fortunately an opportunity presented itself with an Internet Marketing career.

It was at that point that I realized that it was foolish of me to stay in the same job for over thirty years. I should have tested the waters and gone on to work for other companies within my field of expertise.

I started looking for alternative methods of making money, I had already been exposed to a globalized communication network which was most effective, efficient and very little limitations. I had fully understood how powerful of a medium the Internet was becoming. Internet marketing is not only buying and selling but also communicating and collaborating with business partner to add value and provide innovative strategies to our customers. So it was natural for me to transition to the online business.
Naturally like everyone else I typed into Google search engine “Making Money Online” and this is where my journey began to find a unique way to generate income online.

After months of searching and jumping from one program to another and spending large amounts of money I finally stumbled across an effective educational program in Wealthy Affiliate University. I was so fed up and frustrated with all the lies and promises that had been made in the past by different programs on how I’ll make a good amount of money online, however, when I looked at the Wealthy Affiliate website I instantly thought of how successful I could become with this program. The Wealthy Affiliate training was tailored made for me with instructions on their “getting started plans”, personal coaching, training tool kits and community support forums . This program guides me in the right direction and give me proper mentoring that even my family notice the change on how I tackled Internet Marketing.
I Gave Wealthy Affiliate A Try
When looking at the elements that Wealthy Affiliates had to offer there was no comparison to other program out there. There were several membership options at Wealthy Affiliate, however, since I was confident in the effectiveness of the program I choose the yearly membership of $597.00. I remember very clearly that I joined the Wealthy Affiliate University on 8 February 2011.
A light at the end of the Tunnel
Immediately after joining I started to go through all the material that was available on the wealthy affiliate website. The material was split up into several categories which were beginner, intermediate and advanced level. Within the first week at Wealthy Affiliate you will be taught how Internet marketing works through a series of tutorials, courses, and videos. You will even get your very own website up and running in your first 7 days of joining. I read as much as I could and by the end of it I was slightly overwhelmed with information, however I felt a bit of joy because I realized that I had finally came across a program that made a lot of sense.
Over the next few weeks I digested all the information that was available on the wealthy affiliate website and then started to take the appropriate action. I started my training connecting with some of the biggest names in Internet marketing, completing tasks, and learning the top marketing techniques online. I also had a website ready to sell products anywhere in the world. I also created content and write articles to gain exposure for Search engine optimization which allow me to connect with real buyers. I’ve continue to build on my site, getting more traffic and in a position to earn consistent sales and ranking in the search engines. I remember jumping up and down with joy and could not wait to tell my wife about the first sale I had just made. Just for your information, that campaign gave me a few more sales because I used the keyword research tools which you will learn when you join the Wealthy Affiliates Program.
